Ady Voltedge will be heading to Chicago for the 2012 Mid-America Economic Development Council (MAEDC) Competitiveness Conference. This is their sixth year attending and exhibiting at the conference, designed to provide its Midwest-based EDO membership with tools for successfully competing for job creation, investment, and talent.
Ady Voltedge served as judge for the Best in the Midwest Economic Development website program, based on the dozens of EDO websites that they themselves have built and won awards for at the national level. This years submissions were some of the best ever, and the competition was intense. Janet Ady, president and CEO of Ady Voltedge, will be at the awards ceremony and also consulting with each of the organizations who submitted their websites for evaluation.
Ady Voltedge also led the research for the Site Selector Panel. This is one of the most popular features of the conference, and last year, Ady Voltedge introduced the first annual Site Selectors Survey. The twists on this survey relative to other surveys that are done are two-fold: First, it focuses specifically on the 10 Midwestern states that are part of MAEDC; and second, we compare the Site Selectors responses with those of participating EDOs.
We are proud to support the MAEDC organization and its members, said Ady. Its a chance to meet new people, reacquaint with old friends, and learn from some of the best site selectors in the country.
