In his new role, Mr. Stewart will focus on research and development related to Algonquins core, client-facing products, including the companys content management products – QuantumCMS, LegalLink, Proposal Builder – and all new products developed for the content management family.

This move represents a significant investment in Algonquins commitment to the growth of its product line and gives the company the ability to proactively push into new markets with new and better solutions. Mr. Stewarts work will also allow Algonquin to respond more quickly to its existing, international customer base with faster updates and new releases.

Im excited about the opportunities this new role will provide for me and for Algonquin Studios, says Mr. Stewart. We have great ideas for the future of our existing suite of content management products and new additions to the line. My new position will bring us one big step closer to realizing those ideas and to continuing to grow our strong presence as a software and services provider.

Moving forward, Mr. Stewart and his team will define scope, produce delivery timelines, and build new client-facing software products. The Research and Development team will also be responsible for implementation details and for coordinating with Algonquins support team on updates. Theyll also work with the companys custom development team to identify improvements that will allow for easier builds and implementations of custom features and functionality to existing products. The team will also identify new product opportunities and bring them to the senior management team for consideration. While at first Mr. Stewarts efforts will be focused on Algonquins line of content management products, it is the companys goal to grow his team and the products it produces.
