Element Solutions, formerly Element115, announced today that the company has appointed Srinivas Kandikonda as its president and COO. In his 23 years of leadership experience in the IT application development field, Kandikonda has led a worldwide team of more than 400 consultants and built a global Enterprise Content Management (ECM) practice around web content management solutions. The new role with Element Solutions is a promotion for Kandikonda, who for the past 18 months has been the companys VP of Operations, overseeing delivery success. He will now also be responsible for sales, marketing and R&D operations as well as leading the charge on defining the business direction and focus.
Ive had a chance to work with Srinivas in various capacities and can attest to his impressive track-record and leadership skills, which will enable the organization to deliver excellent service to our customers, said Venkatesh Korla, CEO of Element Solutions. Element Solutions is experiencing tremendous growth and Srinivas expertise in managing a global team with focus on web content management is going to help the organization tremendously.
Kandikonda has a history of building and delivering solutions focused on customer experience improvement as well as product management and marketing. As a senior management team member of the solutions group at Virtusa, Kandikonda led a global ECM practice that contributed $ 16 million in revenue within three years and grew to 400 team members on three continents. Kandikonda also contributed to the companys overall growth by establishing partner revenue channels with leading ECM vendors like IBM, OpenText, Adobe (formerly DAY), Oracle (formerly Fatwire) and Alfresco among others.
In addition, Kandikonda was a senior member of the products group for Vignette where he oversaw the flagship content management solutions, including Vignettes first set of content management packaged applications. Prior to that, he was the director of the delivery management practice at Covansys/Claremont Technology Group, where he played an integral part of a successful sales team for a multi-million dollar Membership and Claims consolidation project for The Regence Group.
Earlier in his career, Kandikonda gained significant hands-on experience in executing large-scale offshore projects in his work with the welfare system implementation initiative for the State of Nevada. He also played various project management and engineering roles at Tata Steel in India, where he worked for more than 5 years.
“I believe the opportunity in front of Element Solutions is exciting and real, said Kandikonda. As evidenced in my day-to-day interactions with our customers, large companies are constantly looking for optimal ways to enhance the web experience to their end constituents and net new budgets are being allocated for these initiatives. Based on partner and customer feedback, Element Solutions is very well-positioned to deliver success in the market place, and I am thrilled to be expanding my role with the company.
