The online retailer announced this week it is hosting a princess photo contest via its facebook page, http://bit.ly/PvNYsH. Entrants are asked to post a picture of their child dressed in a princess Halloween costume or other princess dress up attire. Fans from around the world will then have the chance to vote for their favorites. The princess photo with the most votes by October 20th will win a $ 100 everything-princesses.com gift certificate.

Asked what constitutes princess attire, Penny Gray, contest organizer replied, Anything a princess would wear. That may mean classic storybook princess costumes, like Belle, Snow White, or Cinderella; or it could be one of the recently popular Disney princesses such as Tiana or Merida. The costume could be homemade or store bought. Even a simple tiara and tutu would count as princess attire. Gray then added, We invite everyone with a little princess in their life to join the contest. No purchase is required, and its very easy to post a picture. Once the picture is entered, they can spread the word to friends and family and give them the link to vote. On October 21st, one of our lucky fans will win a great prize!
