There is no cost for the Cenegenics Fellowship in Age Management Medicineand physicians actually receive compensation during their fellowship by conducting Elite Health Evaluations, a highly intensive evaluation process to determine patients metabolic, physiologic and hormonal baselines, used to customize programs so patients are placed in the lowest possible risk category for disease.
Our new fellowship program is a big step forward for Cenegenics, helping us meet the growing demand for age management medicine and our need to add 100 physician partners within the next five years, Cenegenics Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert D. Willix, Jr. said.
Completing the fellowship can be done conveniently to fit a physicians needs, Willix said. A physician will spend 70% at his/her home office and 30% at a Cenegenics center. The fellowship will take one year for full-time fellows to complete and two years for part-time fellows.
To be eligible for the fellowship, a doctor must first complete Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicinea program provided by the Age Management Medicine Education Foundation (AMMEF) and Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG), which earns the physician 52 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Fellows also participate in our Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs and Clinical Update meetings to stay on the forefront of our medical specialty. They also earn 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits during their fellowship by participating in at least one AMMG conference per year, Willix said.
