Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 16, 2012
PackFlash has released a new version of their DotNetNuke Gallery module. The latest version of the Gallery Module provides integration to the core DNN social functionality recently released with DNN 6.2. New functionality in the Gallery module allows anyone creating an image gallery to use the system to post a message to their personal journal on their DotNetNuke website as well as any or all of their social group journals at the same time. The user has the option to include a personalized message and set the visibility of the post. This is similar to the behavior that users are provided when manually posting to the new DNN social journal in DNN 6.2. Posting to all journals will occur when the gallery is published to the website.
The DotNetNuke Gallery module by PackFlash is a part of the Constellation product family. The Constellation Module Suite consists of eight DNN modules that are closely intertwined. The modules can be purchased individually or together as a complete solution. This level of module integration is unique in the DNN marketplace. The Constellation module suite currently consists of Events, Gallery, Slideshow, Video, Friendly URLs, Mega Drop-Down Menu, Comment and News & Blog module for DotNetNuke. The Gallery Module is a solution for displaying image galleries on DotNetNuke websites. This module can show images in a lightbox and distributed throughout the website.
The latest version of Constellation includes the same DotNetNuke Social integration for all of the content modules in the suite. The content modules include News & Blogs, Events, Gallery, and Video. This new version also added DNN social integration for the PackFlash Comments and Ratings module providing users the ability to share comments on any item in the system. PackFlash is also adding a new module called PackFlash Collections that will allow users to save and manage items, including image galleries, to their personal libraries. Also new to the suite is the ability to specify a template-driven tooltip on any list view allowing the user to see more details than what is on the page. The Mega Menu has been enhanced to provide the option to display PackFlash categories within the mega menu instead of only DotNetNuke page information.
Version 3.3 of PackFlashs DotNetNuke Modules also significantly improves the functionality of the Friendly URLs and SEO Module. This module can now be used for re-writing all standard menu and links that are dynamically generated without requiring integration. This includes any links generated from PackFlash modules, DNN core modules, and 3rd party modules.
