Dr. Deutsch, board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently helping to promote breast cancer awareness month from now until the end of October. We are releasing brochures of the breast reconstruction procedures we provide and we will be offering our Facebook fans helpful information about breast cancer and breast reconstruction, says Dr. Deutsch.
Dr. Deutsch is one of very few surgeons in Atlanta who specializes in DIEP Flap Reconstruction, a procedure that uses a patients abdominal tissue to reconstruct the breasts, which results in a flatter abdomen and more natural breasts. Dr. Deutsch offers a variety of other breast reconstruction procedures, such as tissue expander reconstruction, latissimus flaps and TRAM flaps. He works closely with the physicians of his breast cancer patients throughout the entire process. Dr. Deutsch is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American College of Surgery, and The Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Deutsch has years of general, plastic and reconstructive training from LSU Medical Center and Albert Einstein Medical Center; his fellowship in cancer reconstruction was performed at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
