Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) November 13, 2012
Krause Manufacturing, Bellingham, WA, is proud to announce the launch of their new website http://www.krausemanufacturing.com. The new website offers information about material recovery facilities among other recycling equipment that Krause manufactures so recyclers can make informed decisions.
The website was designed in a way to compliment the other divisions of the CP Group of companies to show an integrated and cohesive brand. This site is one of 5 websites that will have similar design elements to really show relationship between companies, says Ashley Davis, CP Group Marketing Manager.
The site has new features, such as videos, testimonials, and detailed information about recycling equipment, specifically material recovery facilities.
Material recovery facilities (MRFs) are systems designed to separate differing materials in waste streams, such as fibers, plastics, metals and other materials that can be recycled. MRFs
can consist of a series of conveyors, screening equipment, optical sorters, eddy currents or other magnets, and balers which are all used to separate, capture and bale material to be recycled.
There are different types of MRFs for different material streams. Single stream recycling refers to the blue bin recycling which has all recyclables mixed without trash, this is also referred
to as a clean MRF. Dirty MRFs are facilities that sort municipal solid waste, which can be recyclables mixed with trash, organics, or other types of non-recyclables. MRFs are also used in
conjunction with Waste to Energy facilities as the front-end system to recover metals and other recyclables, as well as to remove contaminates that cannot enter the Waste to Energy facility, such as PVC.
MRFs are also used to separate construction debris, and these are referred as Construction and Demolition MRFs. Krause Manufacturing is one of the global leaders in manufacturing heavy duty MRFs for this type of demanding application. Commercial and Industrial MRFs recover and separate materials from offices, warehouses, distribution centers and other types of industrial applications.
Electronic waste is a growing concern as more and more old cell phones, laptops and other e-Waste is discarded. E-Waste MRFs are used to capture precious metals, plastics and minerals from e-Waste.
Krause custom engineers and manufactures material recovery facilities for all of these applications: Single Stream, Municipal Solid Waste, Waste to Energy, Construction and Demolition, Commercial and Industrial, e-Waste and more.
